Packing the right items in the right cartons is important. Used cartons may have weak areas that will cruch easily or may be odd sizes that will not load and travel well. We use only the most reliable packing products to ensure that your move is the most secure. Small boxes for heavy items and larger boxes lighter items. This will ensure easier carry for you to sit aside while packing your items. Wardrobe's come the day of your move.

How to pack your items
Packing your items:
- Keep the weight of each box at or under 30 lbs and less for fragile items.
- Label each box, marking which room it will go to upon delivery.
- Pack fragile items carefully in separate boxes using the proper packing materials and label those boxes : "Fragile".
- Make sure to tape top and bottom shut to ensure safety of the items inside.
- Do not pack above edge of the container/box.
- Grandfather clocks- Pendulums on clocks should be removed or secured tightly to the base of the clock. Small clocks may be wrapped and placed in boxes.
- Leave clothes in the dressers as long as their are not breakables, lose jewelry, or collector items.
- Valuables- Legal documents, all important papers, jewelry, and currency should be handled by you personally. Keep them in your immediate possession.
- Moving companies will not assume responsibility for living plants.
- Mattresses- You may purchase additional plastic for your mattress ahead of time.
- Large mirrors will be blanket-wrap to ensure non-breakage.
- Bric A Brac- Wrap separately and pack in cartons, boxes, barrels. Wrap Cushions well with newsprint. Pack largest and heaviest items in bottom of container/ boxes. Do not pack over edge of container/boxes.
